Is the Personal licence really free?
Yes. Home use and your own computer are covered, including freelancers and sole traders doing paid work. Every feature, no time limit.
What counts as commercial use?
Employees and company-managed computers, where the organisation pays for the seats. Working for yourself on your own machine stays under Personal.
Does Lapsus send anything anywhere?
The app corrects text on your device and has no account and no telemetry. This website and the account area do hold data, and the privacy policy says exactly what.
What happens when a trial key expires?
It stops being valid after 30 days. The app itself keeps working; on company-managed computers an unlicensed copy shows a reminder rather than stopping.
Which systems does it run on?
Windows and macOS. Business licences add signed installers and an MSI for Intune and Group Policy.
On a company computer without a licence, the app shows a reminder after 14 days. Corrections keep working either way.
